Painter and printmaker Timothy Berry’s most recent work continues a lifelong investigation of mankind’s contentious, yet appreciative relationship to nature. Utilizing motifs from natural landscapes, he generates implied narratives of a paradise lost and flirts with patterned abstraction.
Berry has been an active and accomplished artist for over 30 years. His paintings, drawings, and prints have been exhibited extensively in museums and galleries throughout the United States and Europe, including 23 solo shows and 80 group exhibitions. Through his collaborative
printmaking workshop, Teaberry Press, he has created over 250 individual projects since 1974. Berry is an Associate Professor at the San Francisco Art Institute and an adjunct member of the Art department at U.C.Davis.
